is where
Technology meets Business

My
strength lies in my in-depth understanding of the reality
of
software production, the commercial needs for companies and the legal
challenges with software licensing.
Based
on a solid academic foundation and many years of highly relevant
work experience I
feel at home where technology meets business.
During
my 10+ years in Telecom industry I have worked my way through the
process, starting as a programmer, project
manager, product manager, line
manager, global sales manager and finally in charge of strategic
alliances
and software sourcing, for my employers.
I
have worked with companies like Ericsson, Teleca and UIQ Technology.
For
UIQ I developed and implemented processes for
strategic alliances and for software sourcing. I
also introduced Open Source software to the company and its processes.
I was five years with Teleca/Obigo, producing
software and selling it on the global arena. Before that, like oh so
many other Swedes in Telecom,
I was with Ericsson where I started as developer and made my
way into product management and sales support.
My
formal education is technical and commercial. I hold a double
BS from two universities in Sweden (Lund and
Växjö). I have also added university
courses in organizational theory, psychology and pedagogic to get a
better grip of the human dimension of software production.
I
have taken a number of commercial courses in Telecom
Technology, Account management, Project management, Symbian
development, Contracts law, Strategic sourcing
and Open Source Software.
My
customers benefit from my unique understanding of the development
process, from idea to sales.
I
have developed tools for Strategic Sourcing and for working with Open
Source software in the supply chain.
